On admission to Shepparton Private Hospital you will be assessed by our multidisciplinary team who will establish an individualised plan of therapy in consultation with you. Together, realistic goals will be set. The program will enable you to achieve the highest level of independence in both the hospital setting and on return to home, work and leisure. 

A medical specialist in rehabilitation will oversee your therapy program and monitor your progress in conjunction with other team members. The nurse in charge will co-ordinate your care and is available to discuss any concerns that may arise. Nursing care is provided 24 hours a day and Therapy services such as Physiotherapy are provided over 7 days a week.

How do I book in?

To attend the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program, we require a referral from a GP or a specialist to one of our Rehabilitation Specialists.

Please ask your GP for a referral at your next appointment. 

Once you have been referred to the program by your specialist, GP or referring hospital, you will be contacted by the program co-ordinator to arrange a suitable starting date.
