Shepparton Private Hospital History

The Hospital, originally called Sherborne Private Hospital, was established in 1979 by a group of local doctors to provide a Private Hospital alternative to the community of the Goulburn Valley. In 2005 Ramsay Health Care purchased the Affinity Health portfolio of hospitals which included Shepparton Private Hospital.

Ramsay Health Care was founded in 1964 by Paul Ramsay and has grown to become the largest provider of private hospital services in Australia.

The hospital continues to evolve in line with community needs with the addition of services such as onsite radiology and the introduction of new procedures.
