Mindfulness is the act of making a conscious decision and paying attention to whatever you are doing, right now. Mindfulness meditation is one way that we can respond to painful thoughts, feelings and sensations with acceptance. Mindfulness engages in five particular skills;
- Acting with awareness,
- Non- judging of inner experience and non-reactivity to inner experience.
Whilst stating with us at Sherbourne Clinic, you will practise mindfulness on a daily basis.
