Private patients seeking treatment for mental illness can now receive treatment locally, at The Sherbourne Clinic, the Shepparton Private Hospital’s inpatient mental health wing.
All admissions are voluntary and programs are tailored to support the specific needs of each patient.
The beautifully designed clinic offers 14 inpatient beds, in comfortable individual rooms, each with its own modern ensuite.
It features a patient lounge, gymnasium, group therapy rooms and outdoor garden areas.
Outpatient day programs are also available for those who require support but don’t require inpatient care.
The nurse unit manager, Mr Jason Campbell has amassed more than 18 years of experience working in mental health after studying at Latrobe University, Bendigo.
Three local private consultant psychiatrists work collaboratively with the nursing team and allied health professionals to assist clients living with a variety of mental illnesses, including; anxiety, depression, eating disorders, phobias and schizophrenia.
