Dr Ayesha Saqib is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). She completed her Medical Oncology training through the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Group. She gained additional experience in Respiratory Medicine and Palliative Care during her advanced training.
Dr Saqib has an interest in the management of breast cancer, hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal cancer, lung cancer and neuro-oncology. She is passionate about providing her patients with an exceptional standard of care.
Dr Saqib is a female Medical Oncologist, who believes in an evidence-based approach for her oncology patients. Her aim is to improve patient outcomes by incorporating novel agents and a new modality of treatment in day- to-day cancer patient management. She has an approachable personality, selfless attitude and exceptional collaborative skills.
She has been involved in the development and conduct of local clinical research trials. She has published a number of research papers, book chapters and abstracts, many of which have been presented at national conferences. She regularly attends national and international Oncology conferences with active participation to enhance her knowledge of new modalities of treatment that are available across the world.
Dr Saqib believes in homogenous and high standards of care for all Oncology patients. She regularly consults and treats urban and regional Victorian patients.
