Commitment to Community Service
While Shepparton Private Hospital and its staff continue to support and actively participate in community services such as Meals and Neighbourhood Watch we also support overseas projects in developing countries.
Recently we donated a Heart Defibrillator Machine and consumables such as dressings and bandages to Baucau Hospital in East Timor. Following is a paragraph from the letter recently received from the hospital.
……… We have been trying to acquire one of these machines for some time but the financial cost involved has meant that we have been unable to do so. This machine will now mean that many people can be given a chance that previously they did not have. It will, and already has been, put to good use…….
