Dr Udayasiri is an Australian-trained general surgeon who has a special interest in breast, endocrine and laparoscopic surgery. She obtained her primary medical qualifications in 2007 from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Bachelor of Advanced Medical Science.

She initially undertook her surgical training at the Austin Hospital and was accepted into the Surgical Education and Training Program in 2011. Throughout her training, she rotated through multiple hospitals in Victoria and Tasmania, including The Alfred, The Austin, Bendigo Health, Burnie Hospital, Echuca Hospital, The Northern Hospital, The Royal Hobart Hospital and Goulburn Valley Health.

She was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in General Surgery in 2017 and received Conjoint Committee Recognition in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) in 2018.

She is actively involved in training medical students, SET Trainees and is currently a lecturer, education facilitator and examiner at the Department of Rural Health, University of Melbourne. Dr Udayasiri is actively involved in research, peer-reviewed publications and presented at national as well as international surgical conferences.

Dr Udayasiri consults at the Shepparton Women’s Health Centre and operates at the Shepparton Private Hospital.
